GYC Meeting Minutes, June 9, 2025
Attendance:
Steve Wilson, Dave Almstrom, Tim Matyuf and Dave Johnson
Discussion:
Putting GYC money in higher interest accounts. Steve and Dave Almstrom, met with SteveGreer our CPA and discussed what was the best way to get higher interest on our money. Because the money must be insured a CD was thought best. It was also thought best to stay with our local bank (Meridith Saving) and get a CD there.
Motion was made move money into a CD at Meridith Saving by Dave Almstrom, seconded by Tim, vote was unanimous.
Dave Almstrom will check with CPA Steve Greer, to determine how much money we could put into the CD.
Discussion:
Increasing our capital reserve payment:
Tim discussed increasing our Capital Reserve payments to be in line with report recommendations by Bennett- Criterium. After discussion, Tim made a motion to Increase GYC capital reserve payment by $200.00 per year to $600.00. Steve Seconded, vote was unanimous
Motion to approve payments to Steve Wilson for mailings to members and transcription of annual minutes. All Board approved
Motion to approve bill ( $1782.00) for time GYC lawyer Ducharme spent at our annual meeting. All board approved
Motion to charge Mike Mayo $66.00 for charges GYC received from Lawyer Ducharme for answering email. No member is allowed to incur charges without approval from the Board. All Board approved
No further business, Steve made a motion to adjourn
