Mike Mayo has been working on the capital reserve study and presented his thoughts on the study. Mike will present this at the annual meeting to members.

Dave A and Tim wanted to make sure the board and GYC members understand that incurring any charges in the pursuit of getting information will not be paid by GYC, without prior board
approval. This includes calls to our lawyer.

Dave Johnson has already started working at GYC getting ready for the season. The board voted to start paying Dave as GYC manager at same rate as last year along with truck usage

payment

Tim brought up that Dave J is also doing a lot of additional work at the club and should be paid for these additional duties. Board approved.

Dave J will be Club manager for the 2024 season.

Dave J will reach out to Scott to see if he wants to continue mowing the lawn this season and instruct him to be more careful with clippings near docks and boats

Last year’s bath house cleaner Matt will continue to clean the bath houses; Dave will reach out to Matt regarding the starting date

Club house bath is now open, code is the same as last year(1650) unless changed at the June
meeting. Channel bath house will open at later date

The board approved to proceed with installation of new solar lights on every other light pole near finger docks.

Trash containers will be positioned in the same location as last year with the same size
containers.
Board decided GYC has enough security cameras, and what we have is working fine

Svend will look into wi-fi for the club house and docks.

Again, there will be no parking on the right side of the channel, signs will be posted.

Bushes along the channel will be trimmed low for ease in sighting boats coming in and going out
of the channel.

Women’s channel bath house bath doors do not close properly Dave J will correct.

The board agreed to remove and replace the lattice on the bottom half of the channel bath house to improve the look.

Board decided the walkway around slip # 1 and others need to be repaired. Will look into the best way to permanently repair them.

Steve brought up many picnic tables and some boat dock lockers are rotted and need to be removed. Members should check their tables and dock locker to make sure they are in good
condition.

The board voted to repair the work shed, as back and side panels are rotted.
The GYC Board wants owners to be aware that per by-laws maintenance of docks are the responsibility
of owners to keep in good repair.
