Hello fellow Gilford Yacht Club slip owners.
My name is Steve Wilson (slip #33) and I am a new board member. Many of you I met at the last members meeting or have met in my over 30 yrs of being a renter at the club. This year my wife sherry and I finally purchased a slip, and look forward to many years enjoying the club and the lake.
With our manager Brad having leaving his position, I was asked to become a board member and accepted.
I have taken on the Job as Secretary of GYC from Svend who wanted to focus on the treasure position, and will be keeping you updated on the goings on at the club.
Svend has being working very hard on the budget for 2021 and for next year and has made many changes to improve accountability of monies. Svend will be putting these and other changes on the web site very soon, And I will keep you updated as to when to look to the website.

The board has approved the installation of a continued fence along the parking area, and has approved the updating of the gas dock bath house. More information on this will be available on the website shortly.
The board is way behind on trying to address members concerns from the members meeting. It has been working hard to clean up issues, and getting new programs in place to better account for monies, workers, upkeep and Maintenance issues. Please bear with us!
